So you are here because you need to know the ways to build backlinks to your awesome blog. I think I need not stress on how important backlinks are for a blog. But still…

As you may know that links are the only way in which search engines can crawl the entire web. So it’s important to have blogs that point to your blog via backlinks.
Backlinks are nothing but links from other blogs in your niche pointing to your blog with some relevant anchor text.
The more backlinks means, you have better ranking and search traffic. Therefore, it is important to build backlinks to get credibility and rankings in your niche.

Here’s the huge list

  1. Build quality content, remember content is king.
  2. Create evergreen content.
  3. Never include date-based parameters in your permalink.
  4. Come up top on Search Engines targeting long tail keywords initially, so that other bloggers easily link to you.
  5. Do not neglect image backlinks. Google also takes account of image backlinks.
  6. Use related posts exchange plug-ins like Zemanta.
  7. Comment on other blog posts more often.
  8. Comment on blogs with CommentsLuv installed which showcases your recent blog post.

  1. Great list but i think article submission and directories submission are old techniques and now google is punishing websites who have done that. These points should be removed from your list.

      But article submissions and other so called blackhat techniques work well for ranking event blogs for a short time.
      But in long term, it definitely leads in penalization of your blog.
